The Yukon Permanent Art Collection provides Yukoners and visitors with an opportunity to experience our cultural legacy as it is expressed through the visual arts, and contributes to the professional development and economic well-being of Yukon artists.

The works purchased for the collection are selected by a volunteer organization, the Friends of the Yukon Permanent Art Collection. This non-profit society strives to ensure that the collection contains quality works suitable for a public collection, which are of relative importance and relevance to Yukon and are unique.
