Rampart House

Rampart House Historic Site

Rampart House and Lapierre House Historic Sites are located in the traditional territory of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation on the Porcupine River drainage in North Yukon.

The sites represent the first encounters of traders, missionaries and police with the native people of this region. The sites, with a variety of built and archaeological resources, are cooperatively owned and managed by the Yukon Government and the Vuntut Gwichin First Nation.
