Marketing
The Marketing Unit actively promotes the Yukon as a desired and memorable tourism destination. Using a market-driven, research-based, industry-led approach, the Unit develops, implements and evaluates tourism marketing programs in all Tourism Yukon’s target markets.
The “Larger than Life” brand reflects the warmth and beauty of Yukon’s people, landscapes, culture and history building excitement that cultivates a desire to travel to Yukon and enjoy high-quality, authentic tourism experiences.
Being familiar with the 3-year Marketing Strategy and annual Marketing Plan allows Yukon industry members to understand the Marketing Unit’s approach to marketing, its goals, priorities and favoured approaches. Aligning private sector marketing and promotional efforts with the Marketing Unit’s initiatives brings mutual benefits for industry partners and Tourism Yukon.
