Arts Section

The Arts Section's mandate is to support and encourage the development of the visual, literary, and performing arts in Yukon. We accomplish this through programs which enhance public appreciation of the arts and which assist artists, arts organizations, and arts collectives in the pursuit of their goals.

Important Dates for Funding

Arts Fund
For groups, societies, and collectives.
Intakes:15th of March, June, September and December.

Advanced Artist Award
For individual artists.
Spring Intake - April 1
Fall Intake - October 1

Touring Artist Fund
For individual artists and ensembles.
Intakes: 15th of March, June, September and December.

Arts Operating Funds
For registered non-profit arts organizations.
Annual intake: February 15

Culture Quest
For individuals and groups.
Intakes: Rolling.

Permanent Art Collection
To submit completed works for acquisition consideration in the Yukon Permanent Art Collection.
Annual Intake: Fall, 2012.
