Arts Operating Funds is comprised of the Annual Operating Component and the Annual Project Component. Its purpose is to encourage the development of the arts and to enhance the contribution of the arts to the Yukon by supporting arts organizations towards sustainable and effective planning, governance, and human and financial resources to meet their arts mandates. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

The society has filed financial statements with the Registrar of Societies for 2 consecutive years prior to the application,

Activities of the society have a Territorial impact (by the numbers of individuals or communities involved),

Activities are recognized for their high calibre impact on an arts discipline,

The society is recognized as an umbrella organization.

The Annual Operating Component provides support to operating and program costs for non-profit societies primarily engaged in literary, visual or performing arts activities with on-going and year round activities. This funding is provided by Yukon Government and Lotteries Yukon.


The Annual Project Component supports project costs for groups with on-going annual projects.
