Ice Patch Research Project

This programme is in support of the Government of Yukon's partnership in current research and monitoring of alpine ice patches in southwestern Yukon.

Other project partcipants include Government of Yukon, Department of Environment, and Yukon First Nations: Champagne and Aishihik, Carcross-Tagish, Ta'an Kwachan, Kwanlin Dun, Kluane, and Teslin Tlingit.The program assists the Yukon Archaeology Program in research and curation of the artefact collections from the ice patches.
